Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi fiercely attacked the central government during his speech in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday (February 7). Rahul Gandhi fiercely targeted the government regarding Agniveer Yojana, Adani case. He said that during the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ we listened to the views of the people and kept our point as well. We talked to children, women, elders during the journey.
In the Lok Sabha, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that when we asked the youth about their jobs, many said that they are unemployed or drive cabs. Farmers talked about not getting money under the PM-insurance scheme, their land was taken away, while tribals talked about tribal bills. People also talked about Agniveer Yojana, but the youth said that this will ask us to leave the job after 4 years.
Rahul Gandhi said that retired senior officers said that Agniveer Yojana came from RSS, Home Ministry and not from Army. He said that the Agniveer scheme is being imposed on the army. Retired officers said that people are being trained to use weapons and then asked to go back to the society, this will incite violence. They (retired officers) feel that Agniveer scheme did not come from the army and NSA Ajit Doval implemented this scheme on the army.
The Congress MP further said that there were no words like unemployment and inflation in the President’s address. From Tamil Nadu, Kerala to Himachal Pradesh, we have been hearing the same name ‘Adani’ everywhere. In the whole country only ‘Adani’, ‘Adani’, ‘Adani’… People used to ask me that Adani enters any business and never fails. The youth asked us that Adani is now in 8-10 sectors and how his net worth reached from $8 billion to $140 billion from 2014 to 2022. From the apples of Kashmir and Himachal to the ports, airports and even the roads on which we walk, only Adani is being talked about.
Rahul Gandhi said that the relationship started many years ago when Narendra Modi Was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. A man stood shoulder to shoulder with PM Modi, he was loyal to PM and helped Modi. The real magic started when PM Modi reached Delhi in 2014. There is a rule that one who does not have prior experience of airports cannot be involved in the development of airports. Government of India has changed this rule. This rule was changed and six airports were given to Adani.
He said that after that India’s most profitable airport Mumbai airport was hijacked from GVK using agencies like CBI, ED and given to Adani on behalf of Government of India. Now Adani has no experience in defense sector, drone sector. After the PM’s visit to Israel, Adani was given the contract for the drone. Yesterday the PM said in HAL that we made wrong allegations, but in reality the contract for 126 aircraft of HAL has gone to Anil Ambani.
